| for those of you who don't know, i've moved into my new condo in the south of market district in sf. yesterday, there was a HUGE fire across the street at 1133. my new address is 1160, so you can imagine how close it was to my building. i was at work all day and heard that the fire was out by the time i left, so i headed over there with a friend. as we were getting closer i saw this:
i was like.... is it SNOWING?!?!? COOOLLLL!! but it turned out to just be the foam from fighting the fire. anyway, the street was closed as you can see and we were able to go down the alley in the back in get into the building.

i'm so pissed about apple lowering the price on the iphone. i just bought it last week. i was enjoying it so much and so excited about the announcement today. it was mostly what i expected until it came to the iphone part. i did NOT expect that HUGE price drop. now i feel very vindicative and i'm spending my time at work trying to figure out how i can screw apple without them getting mad at me.
i even bought the iphone through my friend who works at apple. he could have told me to wait a week and see what happens on september 5th. damn. why are consumer electronic life cycles so short.
